On this show we made strata using up lots of leftovers in the refrigerator.  The result is a puffy,  elegant brunch dish.  We finished the show with a delicious linguini with fresh white clam sauce.  This sauce sure beats any you would find in a store or a restaurant.  And it is EASY!!!!

On this show we made coconut chicken two ways - as a yummy appetizer or a main dish.  If you make it for the main meal,  by all means serve it over a steaming bowl of jasmine rice and some shredded lettuce. Garnish with cilantro leaves and chopped peanuts!

Recipes From Show #3 :  Pasta,  Pasta, Pasta!!

On this show,  we made homemade pasta and pasta from supermarket wonton wrappers! We also made homemade chicken noodle soup that was sooooo  easy!

We reviewed the popover recipe from show # 2 because I received many emails complaining they were difficult to make and didn't work in viewers'   kitchens.  To review.... the leavening agent in popovers is STEAM.  In order to create the steam needed to make the popovers puff,  you must follow these simple rules.  Preheat the oven to at least 400 degrees (hotter if your oven tends to run cool).  Preheat the buttered popover pan for a few minutes before filling.  Make sure the milk and eggs are at room temperature.

Recipes From Show # 2 :  Valentine's Day Special

On this show,  we made  Pork Loin for Two Stuffed with Bing Cherries in a Raspberry Sauce,  Oven Roasted New Potatoes and Popovers.  For a special Valentine's Day Dessert we made Chocolate Fondue.   These recipes will arrive shortly on the website.

The Recipes From Show # 1 :  Holiday Treats

On this show,  we made Latkes (potato pancakes) with Gravlax and Meringue Cookies. A dab of sour cream is placed on each latke.  Then a slice of gravlax is rolled and placed on top of the sour cream.  A piece of dill is used to garnish.  The meringues are very elegant when piped with a pastry bag.  But even when dropped by the spoonful onto a baking sheet,  these cookies are a sure hit.  Try them with crushed candy canes and chocolate chips for a holiday treat!

Zeda's Potato Latkes -   My grandfather's delicious potato pancakes

Salmon Gravlax -          A delicious appetizer for any occasion

Meringue Cookies -      Very light and festive treats
